We had a fantastic stay. Our weekend delivered on all fronts. The tent was great and had everything we needed. The breakfast box we ordered was full of farm fresh food and the stew pot that we had for the Saturday night was a fab. Billingsmoor Farm was lovely, and Jayne and Robert were very attentive hosts. They were happy to spend time with us telling us all about the farm, it was really interesting and educational! The kids (aged 14 and 11) took sometime to adjust to the lack of xbox, TV, iPads etc, but once they did they they had a fab time - searching for chickens, exploring the farm and playing board games in the evenings. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

This was the first farm we stayed at eleven years ago and we were so excited to return. This is such a peaceful, beautiful site. We were surrounded by fields, space and fresh air. Lots to do - children’s play area (including trampoline and hay bales for climbing), hang out with the chickens and lambs , walk around the farm and lots of space for kicking a ball about without bothering anyone else. Lucy is an excellent host - welcoming, great advice about things to do locally / where to eat and comes back quickly when you text. We had a fabulous stay - highly recommend !

We had a fantastic time at Hidcote- the kids spent all weekend with the hens, the pet pig and the horses. John took all the kids to feed the orphan lambs their evening bottles. And they were lucky to see the blacksmith change the horses shoes and come home with lucky horseshoes to keep._x000D_ John made sure we knew where to find everything and let the children roam around his farm freely which they loved._x000D_ We will really recommend this as a great experience._x000D_ _x000D_ J

We had a great stay at Pant Y March. The place is absolutely stunning and the owners, Geraint and Llinos, were very welcoming and just really nice people. If they minded sharing their beautiful land with a bunch of, in our case novice, campers they did a very good job of hiding it! The tent was very well equipped and beds extremely comfortable. We would defy anyone to not become obsessed with lighting and maintaining the fire in the wood burning stove- it becomes the centre of your world especially in April when it was needed for warmth as well as making cups of tea, cooking etc. Everything we'd read and been told about bringing whatever you can to keep warm at night was very true and best acted on- extra blankets, socks, hot water bottles, hats, fleeces. Not the most attractive of night time looks but essential! Hot tub does take a VERY long time to heat up (3 to 5 hours) but it was lovely when you're in! In the summer we'd imagine it would be hard to get your children out of it. Our boys enjoyed every moment- the novelty of sleeping in the cupboard bed, seeing the sheep and lambs, stroking the donkeys and even the effort of collecting the firewood (chopped by Geraint) to feed the hungry stove. And yes they really did forget about television and computer games while we were there. Our only slight hitch was having our dog with us which proved to be less than ideal during the actual lambing season- we had to keep her on a lead at all times, even within the tent in the evening. Geraint and Llinos were very accommodating about her but possibly guests should be advised to leave their dog at home during lambing season for everyone's peace of mind. Overall a really good stay in a fabulous location.

We loved every minute on our Featherdown Farm. For a family who had never camped before this was an fantastic introduction. We loved everything from the wood burning stove to feeding them lambs and the farms produce. Martin and Joby were fantastic hosts and nothing was a ever too much trouble. Our children were so happy on the farm playing with other children and making up their own games. The TV/iPad wasn't mentioned once. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

Our family, 2 adults and 2 boys (7 and 5) glamped on Sunningle Farm, the farm is a working farm so lots of animals which we loved and the boys who especially liked to feed them. Despite it being a working farm, it was very tranquil with spectacular views.Our tent was large with cosy beds for all and a flushing toilet, we opted for a shower block nearby which always had hot water.We didn’t have any electricity so lighting in the evening was candles or paraffin lamps which we liked, plus cooking on the stove, which was also very good at keeping the tent warm.Lovely walks are available through the farm and we were hosted by Gill who was awesome at showing us what’s what and making sure we had everything we needed. She introduced us to the animals and allowed our boys to feed them. She made a big fuss of our boys and even made a bow for one of them as a present! Gill was a star.There was an honestly shop on site which stocked basics and ability to charge devices if needed. There is also a BBQ kit which is worth renting and Gill runs a pizza oven night on a Wednesday which was great fun.The farm is well located for days out to the surrounding area.

We stayed for a 3 night weekend and wish it could have been longer. The rural setting is stunning, with lovely views. The tents are very comfortable and the stove and warm duvets take the chill off on cooler UK nights. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, and really engaged with the kids, who were able to explore and wander around freely. We look forward to returning one day.
