This is a really beautiful place, minutes from a beach and with woods for children to safely play in. Andrew and Denise were friendly and welcoming, the heated showers were utterly wonderful and the coffee and walnut cake in the honesty shop is delicious. It was our first glamping experience as a family and we would definitely come again. Our little boy particularly loved collecting fresh eggs from the hen house, running about in the woods and sleeping in the cupboard bed. The grown ups loved the comfy beds and the peace and quiet in the evenings.I would recommend bringing a camping stove to supplement the wood burning stove as waiting an hour for the kettle to boil is no fun on a chilly morning, bring a lantern / headtorch for reading at night and a sharp knife for cooking. The campsite has good mobile phone reception and there are plugs in the shower block for hairdryers / charging phones etc.

Absolutely top class hospitality, my daughter had a flat tyre and james pumped it up for us, the hole stay was very peaceful and relaxing the location is beautiful, james and Kate went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, would definitely recommend and would love to stay again in the future

Amazing family holiday. We had the whole site booked out as a family and it was brilliant. Hot tubs a real hit with the kids and the view added a real wow factor. Pizza night was delicious and hosts very accommodating, even helping to get our car which broke down the hill and on the repair truck. Definitely recommend.

I have hung my nose over the Featherdown Farm brochure on numerous occasions and am so pleased that i finally picked up the phone and made a booking. We stayed at Pant y March overlooking Lake Bala in Snowdonia, it was lovely. The accommodation was just as it appears in the pictures, lovely clean white linen, big wooden table, sofa, candles and the wood burner as the focal point. Our children (aged 12, 10 & 6) were quick to put on their wellies and within the first 1/2 hour were bottle feeding lambs, fetching wood for the fire, clambering in and out of the hammock and exploring their surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who were friendly and eager to please. We enjoyed a great meal up at the farmhouse one night and sat chatting around the table, we were taken on a tour around the farm complete with story telling and amazing views. We spent most of our time on the farm relaxing, enjoying each others company and exploring our surroundings, playing in the streams, collecting eggs, walking the fields (which were still snow covered) lighting fires and toasting marshmallows! We even lit the burner for the hot tub and after collecting the wood, stoking the fire and getting the water up to temperature, which took 3 hours, it was worth it! A fab holiday and not once did the children mention anything electricall! We played I spy, Guess Who? read books and chatted! Fab, a very big thank you to our hosts.

We loved our holiday. So relaxing and cosy in our tent and the children loved making fires and seeing the animals and being independent throughout the farm. The only thing was that the kids had thought they could do a bit more to ‘help’ on the farm with animals and farming. However we still all had an amazing time. Thanks to Anna and Will.

We had an amazing time at College farm. Our girls aged 6 and 8 loved the cupboard bed and were very cosy despite the fact it was early April. They loved the hay barn and grooming the horse. We all enjoyed the pizza evening and experiencing life without electricity. We were all sad to leave and are already planning when we can next go back!
