At Feather Down, you will never have to choose between comfort and wilderness: they go hand-in-hand. Glamping is especially befitting for families with little children, and friends that prefer kicking their feet up and enjoying nature to the fullest. Glamping offers additional amenities so that you don’t have to think about whether you will be able to keep warm or whether your tent will be strong enough to brave the elements! What’s more, you will find some of our farms are dog-friendly too. We provide cosy and unique glamping pods tucked away in the middle of fairytale-like meadows and valleys, so you never have to compromise. Life begins here.

Fantastic time had by the whole family. Idyllic setting. Having the animals in the same field with us was a real plus. Excellent nearby beaches. Great hosts. The only negative was that the 4x man tent doesn’t have enough living space for 4 - It is better suited for a couple. We found it a squeeze, falling over each other. The photos of the 4man tent on the east Shilvinghampton booking page don’t all relate to the actual tent you get, so it’s Difficult to gage this before you book. Also the showers were more basic than other Featherdown sites. I would definitely return (but I’d book a bigger tent for our family of 4.)
