Feather Down
Options & pricesWe have been looking for a Feather Down in north Norfolk for years and in 2021 we found this gem! Heydon Grove is a holiday location not far from Burnham Market, Holt and the seaside towns of Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea, Cromer and Blakeney. Your hosts are farmers Rory and Hazel, with family members Richard and Jackie also close at hand to make your stay a warm and hospitable one at this ideal spot for a family holiday in Corpustey. Their arable farm has been in the family for four generations and it also plays host to cows from some of the neighbouring farms. You'll also find chickens and sheep on the farm / grazing in the meadows and brand new for 2024 are two Mediterranean miniature donkeys, Diva and Digby.
Heydon Grove lies down some of the prettiest lost lanes of Norfolk, a 20 minute walk from Heydon with the Earle Arms, voted runner-up in Best Country Pub of the Year by the BBC. The medieval city of Norwich with a church for every week of the year is only 30 minutes away but it is the coast that beckons most Feather Down guests that stay here - there couldn't be a better base for a family holiday in Norfolk than Corpustey. Villages with names like Cley-next-the-Sea and Wells-next-the Sea promise so much and deliver in buckets (and spades) on the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Known as Chelsea-on-Sea, Burnham Market is just a short drive away and was named as one of the poshest places to be by The Times in January 2023. Norfolk is known for being a dog-friendly county, and has many great beaches for your dog to run free. You can also explore the Norfolk Broads National Park from the farm or for a family attraction, visit BeWILDerwood for an adventurous day out!
When you wake up in the morning from your comfy beds, cook some fresh eggs for your breakfast on the wood-burning stove - save the barbecue boxes from the honesty shop for later. You can discover the prettiest lanes around the farm by foot or bike (bring your own). For more fun, there's an outdoor playground at the farm as well as a covered sandpit area, perfect for hours of entertainment!

Meet your hosts
Welcome to Heydon Grove farm, we are proud to be the first Feather Down in north Norfolk.
There’s plenty to do on the farm with the play area and sheep, but you won’t want to miss the coast here, it's just a short drive away.
