Options & pricesWithin easy reach of both London and Birmingham and a short drive from Worchester & Cheltenham, lovers of the Cotswolds will find Hidcote Manor Farm irresistible. It is a National Trust farm along with Hidcote Manor Gardens next door. You will be staying with John Righton and his family, who have farmed there since 1942. This 300-acre farm is devoted to both arable and pasture, where the 450 breeding sheep graze in what must be the ideal spot for a family holiday near Worcester & in the Cotswolds.
Your tents are just a stone’s throw away from one of England’s most iconic honey-coloured limestone hamlets, Chipping Campden, home of the Arts and Crafts movement, just a four-mile footpath walk away. Broadway village, ‘the jewel of the Cotswolds’, is a short drive by car as well as the beautiful Bourton-on-water. A little further is Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare and a must for theatre lovers everywhere. There can't be a better place for a family holiday inear Worcester & the Cotswolds than Feather Down's Hidcote Manor.
Stroll around the farm’s garden and watch skylarks, lapwings, and finches at work. After that, you should try Hidcote Manor Garden itself and its riot of colour. Come and say hi to the lambs in spring and help with the bottle feeding. You can catch a glimpse of the badgers that roam around the farm during the summer evenings if you’re quiet enough. End the day by playing some games around the candlelight and enjoy a good night’s sleep in your comfy beds.
