Discover De Lange Weide in Dwingeloo, Drenthe. This organic farm raises cows. Farmer Roef takes care of the young cows and farmer Jody of all the other animals. With many cows, four horses, two ponies and many more animals, there is always plenty to do here. The tent houses are spread over the grounds between the trees in the Drenthe countryside!

The greenest village in Europe!

The village of Dwingeloo is one of the best-preserved Brinkdorpen (stone villages) in the north of the Netherlands and was elected the greenest village in Europe in 2012! The surroundings have beautiful landscapes with lots of nature and recreational facilities such as the National Park Dwingelderveld. In the middle of the woods, about 2 km from the farm, you will find Het Blauwe Meer, a recreation park managed by Natuurmonumenten, where you can swim during the season. In short: come and enjoy and relax in Drenthe!

What to do on De Lange Weide

Crazy about horses? A few times a week, the horse girls are at the farm to make a ride with the lovers! On this farm, nothing is compulsory, everything is possible: order fresh bread, a pancake cooking crate or a campfire cart from the farm shop and enjoy it at your tent house. Book a hot tub next to your tent house and really relax. Get out of your comfy bed in the morning, fetch an egg from the henhouse and bake a fresh omelette on the woodstove. This is really pure enjoyment in Drenthe!
